Thank you very much indeed for giving us such a memorable tour of Chablis and Tonnerre. We won't forget the restaurant in Irancy nor the huge hands of the grandpere, and it was the highlight of our week in Burgundy.

An Englishman who has lived and worked in France for almost 30 years. Brendan Moore originally crossed the Channel in the early eighties to run a hotel barge on the Canal du Midi in the south of France. The areas vineyards and wineries quickly became one of his favourite cruise themes which utimatley steered him to Burgundy where he captained luxury barges specialising in wine cruises. Through moving his home base to Burgundy, ties with the wine making community developed and in the early nineties he started working for a prestigious Domaine in Chablis. Keen to extend his activities to cater for the growing demand for "wine guidance" he set up Wine-Liaisons in 2000. His work takes him to wine producing regions throughout France but Burgundy is still home to some of his favourite wines. He is married with two grown up children and lives near Chablis.
Just a quick word to let you know how much everyone enjoyed your very informative discourse on Chablis and its wines. Very concise. And then the picnic was a smash success as well. Bravo!
